About Heather
Heather Egan is a certified, highly educated massage therapist with over 10 years experience in many different health disciplines. She began her career as a personal trainer in 2003, but her focus soon expanded to include Massage Therapy. Currently licensed in Connecticut (CT #004810); Pennsylvania (PA #MSG009248); fully insured through AMTA; and a national member of NCBTMB, she treats clients all throughout the state. In addition to practicing massage, she has also served as assistant teacher for clinic classes for the Massage Therapy Program.

After suffering several of her own injuries, Heather discovered the benefits of Active Release Techniques® (ART) through a friend and mentor. With an understanding of how ART® radically improved her own injuries, she decided to bring this unique and effective modality to her clients. She is fully certified in ART® Biomechanics, Masters and Elite Provider Network and treats clients with ailments ranging from chronic neck pain and headaches to a variety of sports injuries. She is a provider for and sponsor of Ironman and has been a treating physician at Lake Placid Ironman, REV3 Quassy in Middlebury, CT, and, most recently, Independence Triathlon in Quakertown, PA. In 2009, Heather added Kinesio Taping Practitioner to her list of certifications.

Heather is dedicated to the optimal wellness, healing, and athletic potential of every client. She strives to effectively diagnose and treat soft tissue injuries and dysfunction, while helping clients maintain physically active lifestyles without pain. If you are looking to gain an edge in your training or recovery, overcome an overuse injury, or regain mental and physical balance, contact Therapeutic Effects today.
